What are we doing to keep you safe?
Firstly we, at Big Mama's, cannot wait to welcome you all back through our doors again. We will still be offering you a fantastic stay and play session for you and your children. We will have food and drink on offer for you and ensuring your safety at all times.
Social distancing and reduced capacity: As with every other place of business, we have had to reduce our capacity to ensure social distancing can be achieved. When booking a session, there are only a limited number of spaces available due to keeping a reduced number of guests in the hall at one time.
Face masks: Face masks are to be worn by adults at all times during your visit, except for when consuming food and drink at your designated table. This will help to keep you and our other guests safe.
Washing hands: We are asking all of our lovely guests to help keep themselves safe by increased hand washing throughout their visit. There will be a hand washing station on arrival for your use and then in the hall itself. Please wash your hands before eating and after using the toilet.
Toilets: As you know, the community centre toilets are quite small so therefore we ask that only one family enters at a time. This will keep contact with others to a minimum. There will be hand wash and paper towels available for our guests.
One way system: The centre will be operating a strict one way system throughout the hall itself. You will enter through the front door and then let out through the back gate in the garden area when you are ready to leave.
Sessions: We will have two sessions during the day. A morning session (9:30-11:30) and an afternoon session (12:30-2:30). This will give plenty of extra cleaning time between the sessions to help ensure your safety and the cleanliness of our equipment. Please note our tickets are non-refundable.
Food and Drink: Big Mama's will still be offering you a range of sandwiches, snacks and drinks. We may be running a reduced menu due to extra cleaning and what is available on the day. We are asking that our guests refrain from bringing their own food into the community centre to help with cleanliness. As always, we ask that NO food or drink is consumed on or near the equipment.
Track and Trace: When booking, we ask for a name and contact details. We will keep your details on file for 21 days so if someone should advise us that they have had symptoms, then wee can contact everyone accordingly and let them know the situation.
Other information: We politely request that you refrain from visiting Big Mama's if you or anyone in your household should start displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19. The main symptoms are:
- a high temperature
-a new, continuous cough
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
In case of infection within the venue, we might have to close at a very short notice so we can sanitize and disinfect our equipment. Should this happen and affect your session, you will be offered an alternative slot.
Thank you so much for your cooperation and if you have any questions or concerns then please do get touch and we will be happy to help! See you all soon, Sarah @ Big Mama's
